I'm a senior Biology major at the University of Mary Washington. I love to teach, and I've been doing it without even realizing it for years. I even study new material for my classes by teaching it to people--it's the best way to learn. I've taken a wide range of classes at the University. That's one of the benefits of going to a liberal arts school.

Hobbies
I love horses and I'm taking care of 17 of them for an equine rescue right now. I love anything havng to do with animals, and most of my volunteer work has dealt with them. I've worked with a theraputic riding program and a horse rescue. I also have several pets. I love to garden and have begun to love it even more since I took a Botany class this year. I'm the oldest of four girls; the youngest is 10. She looks just like me and I'm so happy that she is doing well in school and loves to learn.
